This is a great macaroni and cheese recipe that is made with lots of pantry items and done in 30 minutes.I think when you often make macaroni and cheese boxes for your kids it is very easy to make ‘forget how easy it is to make macaroni and cheese from scratch, but in reality, homemade macaroni and cheese is a dinner party that can be cooked in about 30 minutes, and when you add some great spices and vegetables, you can easily make them in macaroni and southwestern cheese. It’s delicious enough that kids and adults alike will love it on the monthly food rotation.The basics of homemade macaroni and cheese are just a few simple steps.
Italian Recipe Of Cheese and Macaroni
Ingrédients
- 2 cups elbow macaroni (uncooked)
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 small yellow onion, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 2 teaspoons of chili powder
- 1 teaspoon of cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 cup full-cream milk
- 3 cups grated sharp orange cheddar cheese
- 15 ounces of diced tomatoes, drained
- 4 ounces of drained green peppers
- 15 ounces of black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1/3 cup of fresh or frozen corn is the same
Instructions
- In a pot of salted boiling water, cook the pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.Put the grill at the center of the oven. Preheat the oven to broiler. Butter a baking dish that holds about 2 liters (8 cups) or 4 ramekins that hold about 500 ml (2 cups).
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the flour, spices and cook for 1 minute, stirring with a whisk. Add evaporated milk and broth and bring to a boil while stirring.Remove from fire. Stir in 100 g (1 cup) of the cheddar cheese, 100 g (1 cup) of the havarti cheese and the Velveeta cheese. Mix well until melted. Add the pasta. Heat for 2 minutes, stirring to coat the pasta with the sauce. Adjust seasoning.
- Distribute in the baking dish or ramekins. Sprinkle with the rest of the cheeses. Bake for 5 minutes or until the cheese is lightly browned. Finally, add the diced tomatoes, green peppers, black beans and corn.
- Garnish with chopped fresh cilantro, fresh tomatoes and jalapeño peppers and enjoy!
