Rainbow Smoothie

Full of tons of fruit and topped with a fruit skewer, it’s the ultimate rainbow smoothie!

Ingrédients
  

For the RED layer:

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 2.5 tablespoons Greek yogurt
  • 120 g frozen raspberries
  • 40 g frozen strawberries

For the ORANGE layer :

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 2.5 tablespoons Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons peach jelly
  • 1 orange
  • 1 tablespoon mango jelly

For the YELLOW layer :

  • 2 frozen bananas
  • 2.5 tablespoons Greek yogurt
  • 40 g frozen pineapple

For the GREEN layer :

  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt, vanilla or plain
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 2 tablespoons milk

For the VIOLET layer :

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 2.5 tablespoons Greek yogurt
  • 120 g frozen blackcurrants or fresh blackberry

For the MAGENTA layer:

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 2.5 tablespoons Greek yogurt
  • 2 beet slices
  • 100 g fresh or frozen raspberries

Instructions
 

  • peel the ingredients in question for each layer then place all the ingredients in a blender and mix until a smooth consistency is obtained. Add water (or milk) if the mixture is too thick.
  • Transfer the smoothie to a bowl or container, rinse the blender and prepare the next layer.
  • Carefully pour the layers one after the other.
  • Decorate the glasses with a skewer of remaining fruit.

Notes

  • The recipe can be scaled back to yield a smaller portion. Simply cut each smoothie recipe in half.
  • If you'd like to avoid canned fruit, use fresh fruit. I would suggest cutting it up and freezing it so the smoothie will still be frosty and thick.
