Easy English flapjacks !

It’s a pretty filling dessert, because it consists mainly of fat, sugar and cereals! Golden syrup is nothing more than an amber-colored glucose syrup, very easy to find in supermarkets.

Ingrédients
  

  • 50 g cane sugar or 50 g brown sugar (the same)
  • 140 g golden syrup
  • 170 g butter
  • 300 g rolled oats
  • 50 g raisins optional

Instructions
 

  • Turn on your oven at 160 ° C.
  • Put the butter, the Muscovado sugar and the golden syrup in a pan, then put the pan on low heat to melt the whole. Mix well with a wooden spoon.
  • When everything has melted and the mixture is well blended, turn off the heat and add the oats.
  • Butter a cake pan, here a 23 cm by 7 cm pan, and pour the flapjack mixture into it. Distribute and equalize the dough well. Using a spatula, flatten while pressing the preparation well.
  • When the flapjack has taken a nice color, take it out and let it cool before removing it from the mold.
  • Cut the flapjacks, and it's ready!
