- 200 g brioche, sliced
- 2 eggs
- 2/3 cup whole milk
- 2 tablespoons of icing sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract optional
- 25g butter
- 150 ml cream
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla paste
- 2 teaspoons of icing sugar
- 250 g fresh strawberries to garnish
- 250 ml of maple syrup optional
- Beat the eggs with the milk, sugar and vanilla extract.
- Dip the brioche slices in the milk mixture until well soaked.
- Melt the butter in a frying pan. Fry the brioche over medium heat for about 2 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Beat cream and icing sugar with vanilla paste until peaks form.
- Top with a tablespoon of cream, a broken strawberry and sprinkle with icing sugar. Serve with maple syrup if using.
